Our farm dates from 1913. Situated in the small hamlet of ‘Les Nautes’ near Vernassal, it is surrounded by countryside. Sophie and Benjamin Lamirand have set up their gite in this peaceful place on the edge of the forest, where visitors can enjoy the exceptional diversity of the landscape. The region of ‘Portes d’Auvergne’ ist rich in contrasts, set between wooded mountains and meadows stretching from Allègre to Saint-Paulien. It offers something for everyone : the adventurous can explore on foot, on horseback or by bicycle, following streams and paths, looking for plants or animals ; families can enjoy numerous activities, whilst those looking for peace and quiet may wish to go in search of the Romantics.
Chickens, cats and donkeys all live happily side by side at the gite. The owners are organic farmers and their produce can be bought directly from Martine á la ferme.
